Sona Refined Ajwain (whole) is obtained by cleaning ajwain seeds by hi-tech screeners. It is related to family of caraway and cumin. It is grown in state of Rajasthan and parts of south India. It is used for savory dishes, goes especially well with fish. The seeds are also added to curries and breads.
